Hot on the heels of the Melissa Virus is the Worm.ExploreZip Virus. This virus continues to wreak havoc, shutting down systems at some of the worlds largest companies and proving hard to kill. One major international advertising agency, Minneapolis, was almost shut down for two days after receiving the virus from a client. 'On Thursday, 14000 files were wiped out'. With help from Microsoft (one of their clients) the company managed to eradicate the virus, only to be re-infected on Friday, bringing systems down once more. Sky TV, the Financial Times, Boeing, Microsoft and PriceWaterhouseCooper were also infected. | |||||||||||||||||||
