Guy Manning, lives in Leeds, Yorkshire. He has been writing music since his schooldays. Involved with a lot of the Leeds circuit local bands, he has played the Yorkshire area for a number of years. Nowadays, he is more content to produce albums from his own purpose built studio, than to chase the 'Rock Dream'. His main love of music started in the 1970's and his personal favourite genre is that of Progressive Rock in areas explored by bands such as early Genesis, Yes, Jethro Tull etc. His own music, reflects these passions but is done in his own idiosyncratic style. The songs are in the main, narrative stories, some allegories, some pure tale telling but all have been written to provoke a response from the listener. He's already working on the follow up album (he had too any pieces for a single work). |
